Executive Budget

The Mayor is responsible for developing and submitting the Fiscal Year budget by October 8th of each year to the Jamestown City Council for ratification. Below, you will find the Mayor’s Executive Budgets. Budgets are finalized by December of each year.

Committee Meetings are generally scheduled in advance of City Council Work Sessions and are held at the times and locations outlined below. These meetings serve as a working forum for reviewing legislation, discussing policy matters, and advancing items prior to formal Council consideration.

Housing Committee – 6:30 p.m. (Police Training Room, Municipal Building)
Finance Committee – 7:00 p.m. (Mayor’s Conference Room, Municipal Building)
Public Safety Committee – 7:00 p.m. (Police Training Room, Municipal Building)
Public Works Committee – 7:00 p.m. (Department of Development Conference Room, Municipal Building)

Detailed information for each meeting—including agenda items, supporting materials, and departmental updates—is published in the weekly Council Agendas. These agendas should be considered the primary source for current topics and meeting details.
