The City of Jamestown Department of Development (DOD) works to support local economic growth and community improvement through various programs and partnerships. The department facilitates business development, administers funding programs, and promotes initiatives aimed at enhancing the city’s overall stability and progress. It also oversees grant and loan programs designed to encourage investment and job creation.
The DOD includes the Jamestown Local Development Corporation (JLDC) and the Jamestown Urban Renewal Agency (JURA).
