Police Chief

The Jamestown Police Department is a municipal law enforcement agency comprised of 62 Full-Time sworn Officers and 8 Full-Time Civilians dedicated to serving the community of Jamestown.

We operate under two divisions:

Operations Division: Provides direct police services to the public, including the Patrol Section, Special Operations Section, and Operational Administration Section.

Administrative & Support Services Division: Oversees investigative and administrative functions, including the Investigative Section and civilian administrative personnel.

At the Jamestown Police Department, public safety and community service are our top priorities. We recognize that our mission is best achieved through strong partnerships with the community. We welcome your input and encourage you to share your concerns.

Mission Statement:


The mission of the Jamestown Police Department is to ensure peace, safety, and a sense of security for all residents of Jamestown. Our goals include maintaining a high quality of life, preventing crime, and fostering a safe environment.

We accomplish this through the preservation of peace, building strong community partnerships, protecting individual rights, and preventing and resolving crime.

Every member of the Jamestown Police Department is committed to this mission and sworn to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and service to the community.
