City Hall Lighting

Experience the beauty of Jamestown as its landmarks are transformed into stunning works of art through the magic of light. Thanks to the Downtown Revitalization Initiative, our city now features a captivating display that highlights the significance of our heritage. From the towering Jamestown Board of Public Utilities (BPU) Silo to the elegant arches of the Main Street Bridge, and the illuminated Washington Street Bridge piers and abutments, each structure comes alive nightly, creating a captivating atmosphere along the Chadakoin River. City Hall also shines with pride, providing a spectacular display for all to enjoy.

City Hall offers 49 preset colored program numbers available for request, allowing you to choose the perfect program number to complement your event or celebration. Please note that City Hall, the Silo, and the Bridges are maintained by different entities and are managed by separate programming systems. Therefore, coordinating the requested dates, duration, or times across all landmarks may not be possible, either fully or partially.

Join us in illuminating Jamestown’s Riverwalk, Jamestown Board of Public Utilities (BPU) Silo, Washington Street Bridge, and City Hall, and let’s light up the night sky with vibrant colors to celebrate our community.

Notice Regarding Colored Lighting Sequences:

Due to the volume of requests we receive, we are limiting the maximum duration for colored lighting sequences to 5 days. However, this duration may change as needed.

We kindly request a minimum of (4) weeks’ notice prior to the requested date(s). Please note that City Hall, the BPU Silo, and the Bridges are managed by different entities and by separate programming systems. Consequently, coordinating the requested dates, duration, or times across all landmarks may not be feasible, either entirely or partially.

Providing ample notice significantly increases the likelihood of successfully coordinating the lighting sequences across these landmarks. However, please be aware that coordination may not occur at all, whether in full or in part.

While we endeavor to accommodate all requests, availability may be limited, and we reserve the right to deny any request based on scheduling constraints.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
