The Traffic Division operates within the City of Jamestown Department of Public Works (DPW).
This division is responsible for the maintenance and installation of traffic signals, traffic signs, pavement markings, and parking meters. The division reviews and reports on traffic issues based on guidance from the New York State and Federal traffic control device manuals, as well as the New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law.
Our office and maintenance shop are located at the 145/155 Steele Street DPW facility.
