Following last month’s approval of the Police Reform and Reinvention Plan by the Jamestown City Council, the Public Safety Committee is looking for residents to apply for the Police Reform Strategic Implementation Committee. This committee, made up of community members, Public Safety Committee members, and officers in the Police Department, will help implement the reforms and initiatives outlined in the Police Reform and Reinvention Plan. The Committee is looking for 3 members of the community to join.
Residents can apply at https://www.jamestownny.gov/boards/ under the “Police Reform Strategic Implementation Committee.” Applications will be accepted until May 21st.
