The purpose of our School Resource Officer (SRO) is to foster a safe and supportive environment for the youth of Jamestown. Through informal counseling and guidance, the SRO takes a proactive approach to bridge the gap between the police and the youth in our community. In addition to interacting with students, the SRO collaborates effectively with social and community agencies dedicated to serving the needs of our youth.
Our School Resource Officer is actively involved in community events alongside youth, attending sporting events and other school-sponsored activities to build rapport with the youth of our community.
