MAYOR KIMBERLY ECKLUND UNVEILS JAMESTOWN’S PROGRESS & VISION IN THE 2024 STATE OF THE CITY ADDRESS

JAMESTOWN, NY – May 9, 2024 –Mayor Kimberly Ecklund of Jamestown announces the release of the 2024 State of the City Address, providing residents and stakeholders with a comprehensive overview of the city’s achievements and future plans.

Reflecting on the challenges and successes of the past year, Mayor Ecklund emphasizes the importance of understanding Jamestown’s financial position before outlining the city’s current state and future direction.

“In our ongoing assessment of Jamestown’s status, we recognize the significance of a thorough understanding of our financial position,” Mayor Ecklund states. “While the 2023 financials are being finalized, I am pleased to share the progress we’ve made since assuming office in January 2024.”

The 2024 State of the City Address encapsulates the collective efforts and achievements of Mayor Ecklund’s administration, highlighting key areas of focus and outlining the path forward for Jamestown. From fostering collaborative partnerships to prioritizing financial stability and enhancing community safety, the address underscores the administration’s commitment to serving the best interests of Jamestown residents.
