LATE REGISTRATION BEING ACCEPTED FOR CITY REC BASEBALL LEAGUE

April 22, 2021

JAMESTOWN – The City Parks, Recreation and Conservation Department will be accepting registrations for the City Recreation Youth Baseball League until Tuesday, April 27th.

Registrations will be held at the Parks, Recreation & Conservation Department office at 115 East Fairmount Ave Jamestown, NY  14701 on Saturday, April 24th from 12pm- 2pm and Tuesday, April 27th from 4:30pm- 6:00pm.

The program is open to boys and girls ages 7 to 12 years old. Children 7 years of age will only be allowed to play in the outfield.

City residents must pay a $5.00 registration fee per child. Non-city residents must pay a $15.00 registration fee per child. All children registering must supply proof of age. Children who played in the program in previous years must still sign up and pay the registration fee.

The application for financial assistance is available on the city’s website at www.jamestownny.gov or at the Jamestown Parks & Rec Office at 145 Steele St. during regular business hours. The application must be turned in when the child signs up.

The age determination date is APRIL 30, 2021. Whatever a player’s age is on or before April 30, 2021 is the player’s LEAGUE age for the 2021 season. This playing age rule corresponds with that adopted by Babe Ruth Baseball.

While in attendance, please follow all local and NYS COVID guidelines.

If you have any questions, please feel free to call the Recreation Office at 483-7523.
