The Citizen Online Action Center portal is used to initiate a Code Enforcement Request (Complaint) and to check on Existing Code Enforcement Requests.
Directions for Submitting a Complaint Request:
- Select Category: Choose “Code Enforcement” from the drop-down menu.
- Select Subcategory: Pick a relevant subcategory from the available list.
- Subject: Enter the property address for the complaint.
- Add a Location to Your Request: Attach the address by clicking once on “Locate by Address.” Enter the house number and street name (do not include Ave., St., Dr., etc.). Click “Find” and select the address from the list. Click “Save Attached Location.”
- Description or Nature of Complaint Box: Type in the details of your complaint. You can also attach a photo or file at this stage.
- Contact Information: While you may choose to remain anonymous, please note that you will not receive status updates automatically by email. Enter your name, email, and phone number if you wish to receive updates automatically. Providing an email address is appreciated for potential follow-up questions and to avoid duplicate submissions. Rest assured, all complaints are strictly confidential and will not be disclosed outside the Department of Development.
- Insert Security Code: Enter the security code as shown in the box.
- Click “Submit Request” to complete the process.
