The City of Jamestown’s Parks, Recreation and Conservation Department has finalized the 2022 Summer Performance schedule at the Goranson Bandshell in Allen Park.
The first performance of the season will be held on Wednesday, June 15th, at 6:00 p.m. and will be presented by the Jamestown High School Concert Band under the direction of Meghan Murray and the Persell Middle School Band under the direction of Marc Lentsch. The free concert series is held at the Goranson Bandshell in Allen Park.
Additional performances will be held at 7:00 p.m. as follows:

Wednesday, July 6th Jamestown Municipal Band
Wednesday, July 13th Jamestown Municipal Band
Wednesday, July 20th Jamestown Municipal Band
Wednesday, July 27th Jamestown Municipal Band
Wednesday, August 3rd Jamestown Municipal Band
Wednesday, August 10th Jamestown Municipal Band
The Jamestown Municipal Band has performed in Allen Park since the 1950’s, with musical events being held annually at its current venue since the construction of the Goranson Bandshell in 1966.
In addition to funding provided annually by the City of Jamestown, these performances are made available free to the public through the support of the following: Allen Park Women’s Club, UPMC Chautauqua, and private donors.
Everyone is urged to bring their lawn chairs, blankets or park their vehicles close by to listen to the music from the comfort of their car.
* Possible rain dates would be the Thursday following the regularly scheduled performance on Wednesday.
