City Public Safety Committee Begins NYS Police Reform & Reinvention Collaborative
The City of Jamestown, through the Public Safety Committee, has begun planning and implementation of New York State’s Police Reform & Reinvention Collaborative. On June 12, 2020, Governor Cuomo issued an Executive Order requiring each local government in the State to adopt a policing reform plan by April 1, 2021. The Order authorizes the Director of the Division of the Budget to condition State aid to localities on the adoption of such a plan.
This page is dedicated to updates from the Committee.
