The City of Jamestown has completed its participation in the National League of Cities’ 2022 City Inclusive Entrepreneurship program
Along with the City and other partner organizations, the Chamber served on the implementation team for this program working with SourceLink consulting to gather data and conduct research to produce a resource navigator, the SourceFinderTM, to support Jamestown’s entrepreneurs and small business operators at any stage of their ventures. The data analyzed by the SourceFinderTM is accompanied by a report generated on the current profile of the city’s entrepreneurial community and how this centralized information of resource providers can benefit existing and future entrepreneurs. Sourcelink is headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri and provides services in research and development for the entrepreneurial community through technology, community engagement, and reliable metrics.
The City thanks its implementation team members: Small Business Development Center @ Jamestown Community College, the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation, Jamestown Renaissance Corporation, the Gebbie Foundation, Prendergast Library, and the Chamber. Additional recognition goes to our participating resource providers: American Red Cross of WNY, Cornell Cooperative Extension of Chautauqua County, Chautauqua Opportunities for Development, Inc., Fredonia Technology Incubator- SUNY Fredonia, Jamestown Public Market, Chautauqua County Visitors Bureau, Chautauqua Partnership
for Economic Growth, County of Chautauqua Industrial Development Agency, and Manufacturers Association of the Southern Tier & Dream It Do It Western New York.
