Since 1990, The City of Jamestown has been a recipient of federal funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) through their Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnerships Programs. Every year, HUD provides Jamestown with funding to support and revitalize neighborhoods through façade improvements, handicap accessibility improvements, rental and owner-occupied rehabilitation efforts, demolition of vacant and abandoned houses, and infrastructure improvement programs.
The City will develop the FY 2019 CDBG/HOME Annual Action Plan upon completion of the required public input. Residents and stakeholders are invited to participate in a survey which will assists the City in the development of the Annual Action Plan. The survey can be found here. Once the Annual Action Plan is completed, the City will solicit public comments prior to presenting to the City Council for approval.
