Request for Proposal (RFP) is issued by the City of Jamestown, New York for the purpose of establishing an exclusive contract for the placement of Property and Casualty Insurance coverages. To assist the City in placing the coverages your request to participate should include the insurance markets you wish to place coverage through. As the same markets may be requested by multiple agents/brokers, we anticipate markets to be assigned. Depending on the number of insurance carriers that will offer coverage, and the number of agent/brokers participating some agents/brokers may not be allowed to participate.
PLEASE NOTE: Any submissions to insurance carriers prior to market assignment will lead to immediate disqualification
The timeline is as follows:
-RFP market responses are needed by Monday August 10th at 3:00 PM
-Markets will be assigned and insurance specification will be available by Wednesday August 12th.
-Submission Due Date is Wednesday September 11th 2020 at 4 p.m.
-Expected City Council Award on September 28th, 2020
